Our opening hours

10am-6pm Sunday to Thursday
(last admission to galleries 5.30pm)
10am-10pm Fridays and Saturdays (except 23 and 31 December 2005 when we close at 6pm)

Late night opening

We are open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights during China: The Three Emperors, 1662-1795. Our restaurant, cafe, bar and shop are also open late.

The John Madejski Fine Rooms opening hours

1pm—4.30pm Tuesday to Friday
10am—6pm Saturdays and Sundays
Closed Mondays
Guided Tours of the Fine Rooms are at 1pm on Tuesday to Friday. Admission free.

Restaurant opening hours

10am—5.30pm Monday to Thursday & Sundays
10am—5pm and 6.15pm—10pm Fridays and Saturdays (last orders 8.30pm)

Getting here by Tube

The closest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus (on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines) and Green Park (on the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines). Oxford Circus and Bond Street are the nearest tube stations on the Central Line. Both are approximately 5 minutes walk away.

The number 9 bus service:
Route: Hammersmith, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Aldwych.

The number 14 bus service:
Route: Putney Heath (Green Man), Putney, Fulham Broadway, South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road Station. On schooldays two afternoon journeys start from Putney (Elliott School).

The number 19 bus service:
Route: Finsbury Park, Highbury, Islington, Bloomsbury, Tottenham Court Road Station, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge, Sloane Square, Chelsea, Battersea Bridge (Southside).
