During China dishes will include flavours of China, including peach and jasmine.

10am–5.30pm daily for buffet service (4.30pm Friday).

6.15pm-10pm Friday for table service dinner and bar (last food orders 8.30pm, drinks 9.30pm; booking recommended on 020 7300 5608).

For the duration of China the Academy Restaurant will remain open on Saturday with a buffet service until 9.30pm.

Gallery Café

Serving light snacks and drinks.

10am–5.30pm daily (7.30pm Friday).

For the duration of China the Gallery Café will remain open on Saturday until 7.30pm.

RA Shop

Selling a range of merchandise specially chosen to accompany China, including ceramics and textiles sourced in China.

10am–5.45pm daily (9.45pm Friday).

For the duration of China the RA Shop will remain open on Saturday until 9.45pm.

The Sir Hugh Casson Room for Friends of the Royal Academy

10am–6pm daily, last refreshments served 5.30pm.

6.15pm–10pm Friday, with bar service until 9.30pm.

For the duration of China the Sir Hugh Casson Room will remain open on Saturday until 10pm, with bar service until 9.30pm.

NB: The Sir Hugh Casson Room for Friends of the Royal Academy is also open to the public from 4pm to 6pm daily (10pm Friday and Saturday).

The Belle Shenkman Room for Friends of the Royal Academy.

Between 7 November and 11 December 2005 the Belle Shenkman Room will provide an additional café and seating for Friends. Restaurant service will resume on 12 December. We are very grateful to William and Dasha Shenkman for agreeing to this temporary change of use.

Outside this period lunch is served in the Belle Shenkman Room from 12noon to 3pm daily. We recommend advance booking on 202 7300 5608.
