School Workshops

RA Education offers an extensive programme of practical hands-on workshops for both primary and secondary schools

18 January—10th March 2006
Primary workshops
Primary workshops consist of an introductory interactive slide discussion on the exhibition, followed by a visit to the galleries in small groups of 3 or 4, each led by a trained education mediator. Then students then take part in a practical hands on session specifically tailored to suit the exhibition. All primary workshops are scheduled for 10.15am-1pm.

7 February—2 March 2006
Secondary Workshops
Secondary workshops consist of an introductory slide lecture, exploring key themes of the exhibition, followed by a visit to the galleries and a lunch break. The students then return for a practical hands on session specifically tailored to suit the exhibition. All secondary workshops are scheduled for 10.15am-2.30pm.

Workshops are £200 per session for a maximum number of 30 students.

Due to the generous support of the Pidem Fund we can now offer a number of workshops free to primary and secondary state schools.
